Vaio Armaron with the world's Best Chefs

One of the chosen wines for the prestigious “Once upon a kitchen” event in New York’s historic Gotham Hall, the Serego Alighieri Vaio Armaron Amarone was the star of a stand-out menu produced by the top three chefs from "The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2018", namely: the world’s best chef, Italian Massimo Bottura; runner-up Spaniard Joan Roca; and the Argentinian, Mauro Colagreco, star of the Costa Azzurra. Alongside them was Christina Tosi, the famous pastry-chef from Brooklyn.

No lack of stars then at the annual event dedicated to the world’s finest restaurant dishes organised by GR8, the international “experience design” agency that set out to complete each dish with a classic from the Italian winemaking repertoire.

This included our Vaio Armaron, a wine with extraordinary power and complexity and an iconic production from the historic Conti Serego Alighieri estate in Valpolicella Classica that has a particular following in USA, where it was chosen as one of the Ten Best Wines of the Year by Wine Spectator.
