The Masi Technical Group has successfully launched the "Quality Grapes Project": a close collaboration between its technical experts and the many viticulturists operating both in company-owned and associate vineyards, with the aim of producing the best quality grapes possible.
This involves Masi expertise being available to the viticulturists at every stage in vineyard cultivation. A dedicated news bulletin provides information on weather conditions and advice on the most opportune treatments and vineyard practices, as well as updates on procedures and regulations. Harvesting and Appassimento programmes are also planned with each viticulturist. Frequent vineyard visits mean that Masi technicians can also advise on which varietals and rootstock to use, and on the purchase of equipment and machinery.
At the heart of this way of working is Masi's conviction that the quality of its wines is primarily the result of a close relationship with its suppliers and close attention to every aspect of the production process.
