Masi has been selected by the Ministry of the Environment to represent the Veneto in an important project aimed at confirming Italian wine as "one of the highest profile components of our system of management and protection of the rural environment and agricultural landscape, with regard to product safety and consumer health".

The project involves measuring the sustainability performance of the vine-to-wine supply chain, starting with the calculation of its water and carbon "footprints".
