Masi Wine Bar Cortina on the slopes for the 2026 Winter Olympics

Following the announcement that Milan-Cortina will host the 2026 Winter Olympics, we are coming together with Tofana Freccia nel Cielo to celebrate this important result. The Masi Wine Bar “Al Druscié”, located at the first stop of the cable car that leads from the heart of Cortina to Cima Tofana at 3244 m, is preparing to continue the success of its first season and to build upon its position as a point of reference of the Ampezzo scene.

The Tofana - Freccia nel Cielo ski resort includes the famous Col Druscié A slope, internationally renowned since the 1956 Olympics, still the undisputed protagonist of major, spectacular downhill races and now once again "queen" for the Milan-Cortina Olympics 2026.

"Milan-Cortina 2026 is a further source of pride for us in having chosen the 'Queen of the Dolomites' as one of the locations for our "Masi Wine Experience" project, which aims to create spaces and opportunities for direct contact with end consumers. On this once in a lifetime occasion, Masi will find itself at the centre of the competitive, sports and media scene, but it will also increasingly play a key role in lifestyle events”.

Federico Girotto, Masi CEO

“70 years on from the unforgettable Cortina Olympics of 1956, the Olympic dream becomes a reality. Tofana - Freccia nel Cielo is delighted to host this important event and is ready to offer excitement and thrills among the magnificent dolomitic rocks of the Tofana, with all the passion and dedication it has always delivered".

Mario Vascellari, Tofana President

This year, the Masi-Tofana summer season will open on 20 July and close on 1 September, with some changes to the ascent path due to renovations on the first section of the cable, which will see the installation of a modern, high performance gondola in preparation for the coming World Ski Championships and now the Olympic Games too. It will be temporarily be possible to ascend to Col Druscié thanks to a shuttle available from Piè Tofana.
